In recent memories I have of my grandfather he looks as young as he is here. Looking back at this photograph I pay attention to the view reflected on the window: sunny day, white buildings and the sea. His head is facing that direction but his eyes are widely open towards someone on his left side. He also looks surprised. His left hand is on his lap but the napking on the table seems as though its an extension of his amputated palm. Its a little funny.
